RATES / PAYMENTS



30 min lesson = $65

45 min lesson= $95

1 hour lesson= $120


Lesson fees are paid on a monthly basis. Lesson fees are expected by the first lesson of every month, but no later than the 15th of each month.


A $25 late fee will be added if the fees are not paid by the 15th of each month. Invoices will be emailed at the beginning of every month indicating credits, charges, fees, etc… Please make checks payable to "Nancy Jin"



LESSON SCHEDULE



Private lessons are scheduled with the teacher based on mutual availability. If schools are closed or delayed due to inclement weather, please check your email or call me for updates. ​


FALL/SPRING HOURS

3:30-8:30pm: Tues/Wed/Thurs

3:30-6:00pm: Fridays

8am-12pm: Saturdays

(NO lessons Sunday or Monday)


SUMMER HOURS

10am-8:30pm: Tues/Wed/Thurs



MISSED LESSONS/ABSENCES



The teacher may need to reschedule lessons due to professional performing engagements or illness. If a lesson is canceled by the teacher, the lesson will be rescheduled to the best of the teacher and parent’s ability. If a make-up lesson cannot be scheduled, the student will receive a credit for the following month.


  • Only 2 excused absences will be allowed per semester (Sept-Dec, Jan-May).


An absence is excused provided that I receive a call, voice mail, or email BEFORE 10 AM on the day of the lesson.


  • If a lesson is excused, the student will receive a credit for the following month or a make up lesson can be scheduled (within the month of missed lesson). After 2 excused absences, a student cannot receive a credit, but a make-up lesson may be scheduled (within the month of missed lesson), schedule permitting. Any missed lesson that I do not receive a call, voice mail, or email before 10 am on the day of the lesson is unexcused and the student WILL BE CHARGED for the lesson.


Make up lessons are subject to availability.


  • Summer lessons (June-August) are scheduled more freely due to vacations and camps. All absences are excused (provided I receive a phone call, voice mail or email) during this period. Regular lessons are HIGHLY recommended or else the student will lose some of their skills and will have to relearn it again when they resume in the Fall.


RECITALS



There will be 2 recitals during the academic year.


One will be held in the winter (December or January) and one will be held in the spring (April or May). Location and dates will be announced. All students are required to perform in at least 1 recital per year.


A professional accompanist will be provided for the recital, the student must directly pay the pianist (for their time) for each rehearsal. However, there is no violin lesson fee during a piano rehearsal.
